  6. I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

  8. We never had credit cards but because of no emergency fund we felt like we needed to get one when 2 big appliances stopped working (washing machine & dryer) we ofcourse then maxed it out & now trying to pay it off with 27% interest – not fun on a single wage. Always have an emergency fund.

  9. I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking at NVIDIA and other AI stocks. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

  12. To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income particularly weekly or monthly basis. That's The key to being financially stable

  14. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession– it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.

  15. I disagree with the statement that money will not make you happy. It certainly can; having money is a great stress reliever knowing that you are covered for both everyday needs and emergencies. You'll also sleep better at night.

  16. Credit cards are great to isolate your money from the outside world. Debt card direct to account.

  18. Debit cards are the stupidest most risky tool to use. Credit cards are infinitely safer, but they do carry a risk of overspending.

    Undisciplined compulsive spenders should cut up their credit cards. If you are disciplined and pay off your credit card balance every month, no exceptions, then credit cards are far safer.

  20. Well, I always budgeted, saved for a rainy day, I tipped well and donated to good causes, helped others with money, time, or things. I never owned a new car, I alway bought used and paid off early. I have one credit card for emergencies, currently 0 balance due. One debit card. Only thing I don’t do is surround myself with people. Rich people, poor people, upstanding citizens, druggies, none of them. I am too introverted. I have two very good friends since I was seventeen. Both are very extroverted. They are the only reason I leave the house if I’m honest. One helps me to push myself out of my comfort zone the other helps me interact with people. So I hit four of your five and I am working on including more people in my life.

  27. there's nothing wrong with having credit cards if you have enough money to pay them off every month. that's where people run into trouble. we use cards to passively fund our retirement accounts when purchasing things we need every day like groceries and gas, we use different cards with particular discounts per quarter to save money on the purchases we make. We also avoid any card that has a yearly fee EXCEPT the one that gives us a free night's stay yearly–the fee is less than the cost of one night and we always use it when traveling to see our daughter. There are smart ways to use credit cards and stupid ways. Learn how to game the system.

  45. I was told I would never rise above the economic level of my parents. I am now 4 times higher than my parents ever were. So glad I don't listen to people. I owe nobody a dime, and my money earns interest that pays for me to live in my house without needing my retirement income. Generosity??? Cast your bread upon the waters and it will return to you ten fold. You have no idea where the return will come from.

  46. I don’t get where he keeps getting these outrageous numbers for investing. Investing 500 a month for 40 years will net you 5 million dollars? So that’s assuming a 13% return. Last I checked 13% is insane and not the norm. 6% is better which is still a million bucks but I guess 5 millions sounds a lot better.

  47. I have a car payment, 3000 one time cash payment every 5 or 6 years. Fix em myself every 8 months or so.

I’ve never understood that if you have no money your constantly worrying about rent , utilities how your gonna eat.. your car most likely older and your worrying that if it breaks down you can’t afford to fix it, and the; u lose your job cause you can’t get there creating more problems …people that have enough money don’t worry about none of that, so yes you are happier cause you can buy all the food u need , not just what you can afford.
