I am an American tourists, I arrived on April 1 and it is now April 4. I’m in Saigon for the next seven days and I have been thoroughly enjoying myself. Everything is open and they are up and running for business. I am booked in a fantastic hotel that has a great restaurant in it and the food is delicious. The breakfast Buffet is not lacking anything, American breakfast, or an English breakfast, or a Vietnamese breakfast, core if you preferred to have lunch for breakfast they are serving that too….
I highly recommend hiring a personal guide and translator they make it so much easier. Do your best to get a direct flight because you will be standing in a very long line having your documents approved all over again.
I think I will wait until there are no restrictions. Looking forward to enjoying the cities and nature.
As it is compulsory for foreign tourists to present an INSURANCE policy for $10,000 USD upon arrival to cover covid it becomes so expensive for seniors to purchase a policy in Australia.Can anyone recommend any Vietnamese Insurance companies that sell tourist policies.

0:58 and 1:20 there fore vietnam MUST open up more e visa country lists than measly 80 (actually vietnam should open the visa option to pre scamdemic days) if it wants nuclear bomb level of tourism recovery. Thailand is still being stubborn which forces tourists to look towards to cambodia or vietnam (but problem with vietnam is ONLY 80 countries allowed to file e visa is throwing the wrench. also the fat and broke vlogger actually said "there are more people in cambodia than currently at vietnam" <–and this sir is a ON GROUND INFO). If vietnam allows All countries to file e-visa/embassy processing this will Really pressure and force thailand to get rid of the thai pass and test and go abortion schemes.
My wife and myself have just got over the coronavirus. We’ve had 3 vacations and been extremely careful but still Succumb to the virus which was pretty much inevitable. We haven’t done any traveling for the past 2 years due to the virus, and we have not seen any tourists in Nha Trang as yet . Most of our tourists are normally Chinese and Russian , they won’t be here this year so there’s some incredible deals to be had . Hopefully we’re see some holiday makers from different places.
