The entire crew is extremely friendly and helpful. Unlike other hotels I’ve visited, I like how they bow and smile. The receptionist was also quite friendly and helpful. For the first time, I feel at ease with them. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite and enjoyed it.

The hotel was quite central, with a 2-minute walk to the ferry jetty and around a 15-minute walk to the waterfront bars.
Check-in was quick and pleasant, and we were in before the check-in time. The pool was beautiful and had a nice outlook. The room was fine; there was some noise from next door one day, but I believe it was from the cleaners’ closet, so it could have just been bad luck. It was ideal for the amount we paid.

“Wonderful Honeymoon Present” Why did we select this hotel? It is close to the Suria Sabah mall and culinary eateries. The location is ideal for individuals who want to learn more about their food culture, and it is quite easy to find.
Furthermore, the Team did something remarkable during our stay. We received a complimentary upgraded room, and the employees made a lovely gesture by decorating our bed with two swans and love blossoms.
When we arrived, the room was already freezing. It was ideal because we were really hot and sticky after our airplane had landed. The staffs were amazing too! Proactive and quick. Overall, we were pleased with our honeymoon stay! NICE JOB, MERCURE K.K.

Excellent position near Jesselton Point and the Waterfront. The staff is really polite and pleasant. After upgrading the room for Rm25 per night, I got a nice sea view (really satisfied with this decision).
Everything about their service, amenities, cleanliness, employees, and location is perfect. No need to worry about parking since they offered automatic parking free of charge for the hotel’s customers.

The hotel is just 100 meters from the Jesselton Ferry Terminal, and there are numerous decent eateries within walking distance.
Suria Sabah Mall and Jesselton Mall are both within walking distance. The hotel staff is quite nice and simple to communicate with.
They are extremely courteous. The room was spotless and inviting. I would absolutely stay here again if I returned to KK.

The staff was helpful and pleasant. The check-out time is 12 p.m., which is convenient for me because most hotels have an early check-out time of 11 a.m. We now have more time to handle the kids and prepare for other travels.
The facilities are clean and provide amazing views. Even if there aren’t many items at the breakfast buffet, you’ll have plenty to choose from. It’s also quite tasty. You can simply park because it has its own parking area and is close to the elevator lobby, which will benefit those who have more items to carry.
The motel is strategically located and is bordered by restaurants, convenience stores, and other amenities. It’s also close to a mall, so you won’t have to travel far. The view from the accommodation is spectacular if you choose the ocean view, but the city view is also impressive.
The toilet and shower are not huge however if you choose a more priced room it contains a bathtub outside of the bathroom as well. If you have a small child running about the room, this is a very unsafe situation. Yet, this is avoidable if parents keep a close eye on their children.
The accommodation has a mini fridge, a safety deposit box, robes, slippers, and an iron. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay here, and I intend to return soon.

Horizon Hotel, Kota Kinabalu (KK) is a four-star hotel in the heart of the city. Booked a twin deluxe room with a sea view; excellent quality!
The accommodation is clean and neat, with all the facilities you’d expect from a four-star hotel, including soap, shampoo and conditioner, a rain shower (hot and cold), a comb, toothbrush, a sewing kit, an iron and ironing board, a bathrobe, a 40-inch flat-screen television, a minibar, and even a safe box.
The room also smells excellent and has adequate soundproofing! Complimentary breakfast is served at Deco & Grill Cafe in the lobby, the breakfast buffet is adequate & can be improved. The overall service is excellent, and the hotel hostess is quite kind.
The location of the hotel is really excellent! Just a few meters away from the famed Gaya Sunday Market (Sunday Only).
The infamous Bak Kut Teh restaurant, Suria Mall, Upperstar Bar, and Jesselton Jetty or Filipino Market are all just two blocks away from the hotel. A 24-hour shop is also located just steps away from the hotel. Excellent hotel! Excellent value for money!

- 3. Bilik: Woww, design, and style are almost identical to Stanton (lama), but luas. Laluan hotel is five-star. It smells like a spa. Have a song? (tak sunyi bila otw ke bilik).
- Breakfast at mcm Palace Hotel and Holiday Inn Express. By the way, the greatest hotel in town has an mcm Holiday Inn Express coffee machine.

My friends had never stayed here before, so I didn’t have high expectations. Yet this was far superior to my expectations! The room itself was enormous, with plans for additional storage areas. From our 11th-story accommodation, we have a great city view towards Gaya Street.
The other side faces the sea, which may be seen from higher levels of the hotel. The best aspect is that you can simply stroll out to restaurants/eateries/stalls. The hotel’s central location makes everything accessible, particularly malls such as Wisma Merdeka and Suria Sabah.

We stayed here before MCO was implemented. Also, the location is fantastic. You can easily stroll to restaurants, a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and a night market.
The swimming pool view is especially fantastic because of the infinity effect. But, the cuisine isn’t all that great. There isn’t much variety, and it’s unappealing! Such foods appear to have come from a street restaurant. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay with Horizon.

Everything is excellent, the all-inclusive breakfast is a fantastic value, and the buffet-style breakfast has a wide variety, room service, a large room with a bathtub, and a minibar…
One minor annoyance was that cleaning forgot to place towels in my room, so I contacted the front desk, but no one answered, as did the housekeeping extension of the line.
The individual who responded in the roomie app chat instructed me to phone the front desk, which I did. In the morning, I was merely given a towel. It’s only a minor hassle, but you’ll have a great time here. Order room service; their chef is incredible!!

I chose this hotel solely for its pool. It appears to be ideal for children.
But, when I arrived, I was informed that the pool was locked and only open on weekends. This should be sent through Agoda or the hotel’s website. Fortunately, everything worked out, and I was quite satisfied with the manager on duty, Mr. Alex.

Because the location is only 10 minutes from KKIA, we can simply travel to any place. The location is very close to several attractions. Overall, the stay was wonderful. I will surely return here.
